This post is Part 1 of 3
What little there had been written about her has convinced us that this is no ordinary woman and indeed if her PAHT CHEE is to be believed, she will, within the next two to three years, and definitely by 2014, become one of the world's most powerful, definitely one of its wealthiest billionaires. That is when she just might inherit and even take over her husband's position as Chairman of his immense global media empire the NEWS CORP group of companies that owns amongst other things the Times of London, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, Star Television, Fox television and 21th century Fox studios.
Wendi Deng, this highly driven, courageous and very capable Chinese woman of the 21st century is set to inherit a BIG chunk of this empire! How do we know this? We've looked at her Paht Chee and that of her husband's and even with three pillars, we are confident to make some calculated and quite interesting predictions...
We already know that her husband the powerful Rupert Murdoch has been going through a very tough time - this is indicated in his chart. The hacking revelations are rippling through the corridors of power in the UK, and to date, top brass of the police and of his newspaper empire have been axed or arrested or are being interrogated. Even the British Prime Minister is running scared of being tainted by the scandal and where before everyone had kow-towed to the all, mighty Mr. Murdoch, now it seems they are running for cover and distancing themselves from him.
Already he has been forced to close his most profitable newspaper in UK - News Of The World - a development no one would have predicted even as recent as the start of the year. Since then the scandal has deepened. They have even had to withdraw their controversial bid to take full control of BSkyB - the British satellite network which they already own 39% and which would have given them incredible clout owning the FOX network in the USA and Star television in Asia. The embattled Murdoch clan and News Corp have been brought to their knees.
The humbling of Rupert Murdoch must be very tough for an old man to take. The meltdown and the mayhem within his companies continue, and it looks like the after effects of the scandal could take its toll on his health, and maybe even his life.
And here is where the potential role of Rupert Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng becomes so interesting. We looked at three pillars of her Paht Chee and was instantly floored by the what jumped out at us. We also looked at Rupert Murdoch's chart as I suspected that such a serious reversal of fortune as the one he is going through must surely be reflected in his Birth chart... I was not wrong!
But first let us focus on Wendi Deng. The day his beautiful Chinese wife grabbed the headlines, successfully deflecting attention from Murdoch senior and unwittingly thrusting herself into the limelight... there sitting facing members of the British parliament was a doddering, old man. While others were surprised, shocked and reacted to Wendi Deng Murdoch's defense of her husband, Rupert Murdoch himself showed no reaction at all.
There as he sat humbled in front of the world, his wife Wendi Deng, elegantly wearing a pink Chanel suit and sitting demurely behind her husband had acted quick as lightning. She not only deflected the morose attacker with a well placed right hook but also smashed the shaving cream pie into the man's face turning the tables and instantly claiming that moment as her own. In a moment, she had become a media heroine. Her face made headlines around the world. Wendi Deng's reflex action in defense of her 80 year old husband placed her squarely in the glare of the world's press spotlight.
Quite rightly so and we should all take notice. In the midst of the scandal, one thing has emerged clear as daylight. Rupert Murdoch's children from his earlier marriage who are currently "managing" portions of his business - James and Elizabeth who were at the heart of the hacking scandal in London, are definite lightweights. In the face of crisis, they fall apart squabbling with each other, assigning blame, unable to support the old man. The other son Lachlan simply stayed under cover and said not a word. This ends the Part 1 of 3 of Wendi Deng Profile. To find out more, you can read the following Part 2 post.
