Tortoise For Feng Shui

The most fundamental feng shui principle is the importance & significance of the FOUR DIRECTIONAL CELESTIAL GUARDIANS and we have three of these guardians making an appearance in the year's PAHT CHEE chart. Thus we have the New Year's 8 characters having the mighty water DRAGON in the Year Pillar, the TIGER in the MONTH pillar and the PHOENIX in its ROOSTER incarnation in the Hour Pillar ... the only celestial guardian missing is the Black Tortoise. In years like this, it is beneficial to make up for its absence in the chart by inviting the Tortoise image into the home or better yet, to wear it either as a pendant or on our finger! The Dragon Tortoise ring would thus be the perfect piece of jewellery to wear all through the Year!

The Paht Chee chart reveals the element chi map that describes the year. The chart comprises four heavenly stem elements and four earthly branch animal signs which also have their intrinsic element. By wearing the TORTOISE, we will have the chi energy of the complete Four Guardians!

The Tortoise is a welcome symbol in any home at anytime, but in this coming year, it has become especially relevant. The tortoise provides the vital link to completing the celestial set of energies that ensures we are protected from all four directions.

As such, the one piece of jewellery most beneficial to wear would be the Dragon Tortoise ring, this year made with the Tortoise carrying a load of each of
the five elements in colored gemstones on its back. Choose the element most beneficial to you. You can select according to which element produces the element of your animal sign.

Those born in the years of the Dragon, Sheep, Dog and Ox would benefit from the Dragon Tortoise carrying
Fire element i.e. red gem stones. This also makes up for the missing Fire in the chart of the year. However you can also wear the yellow stones as Earth is your intrinsic element and Earth stands for wealth.

Those born in the years of the Snake or the Horse can wear red or green stones. Either of these colors red or green are equally excellent.

Those born in the years of the Boar or the Rat can wear white or blue stones. Blue stones capture the water energy of the year.

Those born in the Rooster or Monkey years can wear white or yellow stones. Yellow stones have the added benefit of symbolizing wealth luck.

Those born in Rabbit or Tiger years can wear either blue or green stones. Blue for these animal signs is better as this also strengthens their intrinsic energy. To find out more, you can check out Tortoise For Feng Shui.
