Types Of Clouds And Description

Suspend your skepticism for just a tiny bit and let yourself look for images in the skies. Allow the clouds to help you. Ancient spiritual traditions of many countries have always looked to the skies to communicate with the clouds. In clouds, they see mirror images of a world different but parallel with ours, and they communicate with the images that appear - the Red Indians of North America, the Incas of South America, the Maoris of New Zealand and definitely the Chinese, Indians, Tibetans, Mongolians, Koreans and Japanese ... the ancient masters of these cultures are so adept at communicating with the cosmic realms via cloud images.

Types Of Clouds And Description

In color, clouds range from the purest white to the deepest grey. In form, they are constantly moving, changing shapes, extending and transforming. If you look carefully, you can always see silhouettes and to some these shapes hold little meaning, while to those with vivid imaginations, their agile minds see many things, interpreting the images more with their thoughts than with their eyes.

I have seen Dragons so many times, and Chi Lins and Pi Yaos too - small ones and big ones. It is as if these celestial guardians are my friends, so clearly, they are, high up against clear blue skies.

Sometimes I see images of cosmic beings - Buddhas, Goddesses, Sky Dancers and Offering Dakinis - and I agree that all these images are "seen" more with my mind than with my eyes - there is plenty of imagination and colorful interpretations taking place here but cloud watching is that kind of pastime.

If you want to feel uplifted, you need to believe in your ability to look beyond the mundane appearance of clouds and see right through - and when the images begin to take shape and form ... Oh my ... what a moment of high that can be!

You do not even have to look too intently or strain your eyes to "see" the images. Just relax and surrender to the inner mind. Allow your psychic awareness to surface and it is this that will make you see and bring you to a high, thereby giving your spirits such a great lift!

I know several lovely lady friends of mine who have excitedly described their sighting of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy in the skies. Many see this lovely Goddess in her usually standing form, a vision in white in the mudra of granting nectar blessings high up in the skies. It is too easy to dismiss their sightings as pure imagination. But I believe them because I know that for them, the sighting of Kuan Yin is real.

Of course we see what we expect to see, but who can say if what we see is real or only a figment of our imagination. Remember if it is real for you, that should be good enough. And do not try too hard. Sightings do not occur every day. They often happen when you least expect it.

If you go on YouTube and you type images of eyes in the clouds, you will see videos of clouds that look just
like Buddha's eyes! It is uncanny but go check it out an even the most unbelieving will get blown away ...

Choose a day when skies are blue and there are some clouds gently floating. Do not try to do cloud watching when the day is overcast with dark black clouds; because what you see then might reflect the darkness of the day. We do not want that.

Choose instead a potentially sunny day when the air smells good and there is a light touch of gentle breezes. Watch the clouds move gently across the skies. Tune into them mentally. The best time is in the mornings. I used to look at clouds while taking morning walks, although I also look at the skies every opportunity I have. It is during spontaneous moments that I see truly amazing images - as I said, it is when I am not expecting to see anything that I actually see something.

Many occasions when I see not one but entire schools of frolicking dragons, that is when I know the day will bring some good news. So I am a cloud addict - someone who constantly tunes into the skies, looking for symbols that "talk" to me in image language.

You don't have to gaze too intently into the skies. The best results come when you are relaxed; only occasionally glancing up into the skies. When the shape of something familiar catches your eye, then you pause whatever it is you are doing and give it your full attention; breathing in the image and stamping it into your consciousness.

Images you see in the clouds often have interesting esoteric meanings. Different people see different images and these range from Buddhas and Taoist Gods to celestial creatures, various animals and auspicious symbols.

The most commonly recognized are Dragons and Phoenixes and these can be as big as stretching across an entire sky or they can be smaller, appearing as a group. Sometimes I see a whole city skyline in the sky and this is very exciting because the buildings then take the shape of pagodas and stupas, like it is some kind of pure land.

So start the New Year with a focused awareness of what's up there in the skies. Malaysia and Singapore have such amazing blue skies that it is a waste not to take advantage of this view ... although I have to say some of the most spectacular images I have seen were in California. Once I saw an incredible Dragon flying over a double arched rainbow - it was quite spectacular.

Meanings Of The Sky Images

DRAGONS are the most commonly seen as Sky Dragons often fly across the skies leaving their mirror images in the clouds. When you spot a Dragon, it is a sign of good fortune, especially this coming year when the Dragon reigns supreme. Another celestial creature that makes an appearance is the Pi Yao because like the Dragon, this too is a flying celestial. Again, it signals the coming of some big wealth opportunity. However, do note that it is unlikely you will see Tigers or Lions as these are the earth celestials that rarely, if ever take to the skies.

PHOENIXES are quite rare but when they do appear, they are said to bring a wonderful happiness occasions, a triumphant victory in some field of endeavor or a very noticeable improvement of luck. In 2012, the Phoenix appears in the chart as the auspicious Rooster, its earthly manifestation, and it is likely that someone may indeed see this magnificent celestial bird. Look towards the South or West direction of the skies to improve your chances.

EYES or FACES appear quite often as I have spoken to many who have seen these images. These usually carry a personalized meaning to the beholder, the message being of a spiritual rather than a material nature. Usually people on pilgrimage or who are in search of holy objects see images of "mentor figures" in the skies.

EAGLES and OTHER BIRDS. These soaring feathered creatures, when clearly discernible in the clouds, almost always signal the coming of a wonderful new opportunity, perhaps a new honor, a new appointment, a new responsibility. Whatever it is, this will be something that brings you a feeling of pride and happiness, so these too are very lucky signs.

FISH and OTHER SEA CREATURES. These indicate the coming of abundance. Fish always portend wealth luck and if you see them in the skies with the clouds simulating water, it is very lucky indeed. If there is a gate near the fish, then it connotes the famous Dragon Gate and this suggests that someone near and dear to you in the household will receive a great academic honor.
