Her awards are too numerous to mention, but this year alone saw her dominate the Music Awards scene with a clean sweep of the VMA Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video. She also leads the nominations with 4 nominations for the 2011 American Music Awards, beating candypop queen Katy Perry and the unstoppable Lady Gaga.
Adele is a rare talent, and although her early work drew comparisons to today's other female soul singers, critics now acknowledge there is no one quite like Adele. This DRAGON lady has created a genre that is uniquely her own. She is no manufactured act, unlike so many of today's hit singers and pop groups.
